CSTO delegation gets to work in Bishkek
A Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) delegation headed by Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov has begun work in Bishkek,the capital of Kyrgyzstan, RIA Novosti said, citing the CSTO press-secretary.Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev has fled Bishkek for the south of the country after protest riots that led to the opposition forming aprovisional government. The new authorities have announced the dissolution of parliament and have assumed the functions of thepresident and the cabinet. However, Bakiyev has said he will not resign.
